The Logan County Commission is now Facebook accessible.

During August’s last regular meeting on Thursday, Commission President Danny Godby announced that the public will now be able to access the workings of the commission using the social media site. The page will present county business conducted by the commission. Those who do not attend the meetings will now have access to knowledge of the services offered to the county through the commission.

Chris Trent, Director of Logan County Family Resource Network and helper in creating the Facebook page, says this is going to be a huge step in getting the Logan County youth involved with the commission. Commissioner Danny Ellis says he likes the idea because it helps keep the government transparent.

To find the commission on Facebook, just search “Logan County Commission” in the search bar. Be sure to like their page and share with friends so all Logan County citizens can stay well informed.
