PARKERSBURG – It’s hard to believe, but we are half way through the high school football season. Many teams have already played five games, while others have played four because of a bye week.

The WVSSAC has released its latest ranking in West Virginia.

Mingo Central comes into the week ranked No. 11 in class 2A. The Miners are 3-1 and will play host to No. 3 Wayne on Friday night.

Meanwhile, Tug Valley is now 2-2 and has dropped down to No. 19 in Class 1A. They will play host to East Ridge, Ky. this week.

In Logan County, the Logan Wildcats are ranked in a tie for No. 12 this week, Chapmanville is No. 13 in 2A and Man is tied for No. 5 in Class 1A.
