VERDUNVILLE — The Maryetta United Baptist Church Ladies’ Auxiliary met Thursday, April 3, for their regularly scheduled monthly meeting. Circle No. 4, with Captain Sue Ann Baisden, was hostess.

Baisden welcomed the ladies, as well as offered the devotion, “God Speaks”, reading passages from various books including Psalms, Malachi, and Matthew.

Special singing “Sheltered in the Arms of God” and “Between Here and Sunset” was performed by Charlotte Compton Vance; ladies’ congregational singing was hymns “Amazing Grace” and “When the Battle’s Over” and congregational prayer followed.

The business session of the meeting was conducted by President Sandra Butcher; Rosemary Bailey read the minutes of the previous month’s meeting.

The meeting closed with prayer, grace, and a spring buffet.
