CHRISTIAN — Two more arrests have been made in a breaking and entering at Christian that occurred on Sat., Dec. 21.
Jimmy Gene Walker, 35, of Man, was booked on Sun., Dec. 29 by the West Virginia State Police for nightime burglary. Walker had been shot during the break in by a relative of the victims who had been asked to check on the home. He reportedly had been recuperating at a hospital in Huntington since Dec. 21. Walker’s bail has been set at $100,000.
Walker’s alleged accomplice in the breaking and entering, Justin Blair, is being held at Southwestern Regional Jail on a $75,000 bail.
According to criminal complaints, Blair was being detained in a State Police cruiser on Dec. 21 when he allegedly kicked a window out of the cruiser. A man hunt ensued for several hours before Blair was discovered in the residence of Clint Toler, 50, of Bruno. Toler was in possession of a handcuff key in which he allegedly admitted to trying to remove the handcuffs from Blair.
Toler was charged with accessories before and after the fact and his bail was set at $25,000.
