The Logan Police Department made an arrest on March 31 for a man accused of stealing a dirt bike and money.


According to the criminal complaints, warrants were issued on March 14 for Malcolm Ray Meade, 25, of Logan, for stealing a 2006 Yamaha Dirt Bike from a residence in Logan on October 13, 2013. The value of the bike was $1,500.


On March 19, a warrant was issued for Meade for the theft of $2,900 from an apartment on Stratton Street. The victim stated that Meade, along with a witness was visiting at the time the theft occurred on March 9. Officers were able to obtain a written statement from the witness that she and Meade were in the bedroom of the apartment and he allegedly showed her an envelope that contained the stolen money.


Meade was arraigned on March 31 for two counts of grand larceny. His bail was set at $10,000.

• Tasha Kay Dingess, 25, was booked on March 25 by the Logan County Sheriffs Deputies for delivery of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, defective equipment and no insurance. Her bail was set at $10,000.


• Sandra Kay Ellis, 61, was booked on March 26, by the LCSD for domestic battery. Her bail was set at $1,500.


• James Earl Ellis, 57, was booked on March 26 by the LCSD for domestic battery. His bail was set at $1,500.


• Ted Daniel Adams, 29, was booked on March 27 by the West Virginia State Police for petit larceny and entering auto without breaking. His bail was set at $3,000.


• David Lee Sherod, 37, was booked on March 28 by the LCSD for DUI (1st offense) and failure to keep right. His bail was set at $3,000.


• Tony Dale Ritchie, 26, was booked on March 28 by the WVSP for harassing phone calls. His bail was set at $1,500.


• Kevin Ray Rakes, 28, was booked on March 29 by the LCSD for permitting driving on suspended/revoked, defective equipment and DUI (1st offense). His bail was set at $3,500.


• Bryan Keith Lewis, 22, was booked on March 29 by the WVSP for two counts of fleeing on foot, domestic battery, two counts of obstructing, destruction of property, and domestic assault. His bail was set at $7,500.


• James Lloyd Parsley, 37, was booked on March 29 by the LCSD for defective equipment, DUI (1st offense), permitting driving on suspended/revoked and left of center. His bail was set at $3,500.


• Jennings Jessie Saunders, 37, was booked on March 29 by the WVSP for reckless driving, failure to signal, no seat belt, DUI (1st offense), failure to obtain WV operators and no insurance. His bail was set at $3,500.


• Scott Harding Toler, 37, was booked on March 29 by the WVSP for obstructing, indecent exposure, DUI (1ST OFFENSE), failure to signal and failure to stop/yield. His bail was set at $3,500.


• Joshua Michael Ellis, 26, was booked on March 29 by the WVSP for burglary and breaking and entering. His bail was set at $10,000.


• Mark Steven Shadd, 38, was booked on March 30 by the WVSP for three counts possession of a controlled substance less than 15 grams, DUI, and failure to maintain control of vehicle. His bail was set at $2,500.
