The Aracoma Story, Inc has announced Audition dates and locations for the upcoming 2014 Summer Season’s productions of The Aracoma Story.
Auditions will be held June 7-8 at Logan High School’s Phyllis Adkins Little Theater from 2 p.m.–5 p.m. Callbacks and additional auditions will be held on June 9 from 6 p.m.–8 p.m. at the Pickin’ in the Park building at Chief Logan State Park.
Auditions are open to everyone, and no previous acting experience is necessary. All roles for this show are non-singing roles.
There are several roles available for men, women, boys, and girls of all ages. Those auditioning should be prepared to read a scene from The Aracoma Story, which will be provided upon arrival, or to perform a 2-3 minute monologue of their choice.
The Aracoma Story is Logan’s own story of the Indian Princess Aracoma and her people who settled in the vicinity hundreds of years ago. This year’s production will be directed by Jamie Dempsey- Butcher . Butcher invites all who wish to experience the magic and excitement of theatre, and to be involved in keeping the county’s history alive.
