It’s that time of year again, Logan County. Time to clean out the old and make room for the new… or at least clean out the old.

The Logan County Commission will conduct its annual Logan County cleanup throughout the county in August: starting in Man then traveling to Chapmanville and Logan.

The cleanup will begin in Man running August 7-9 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily at the old Man Hospital location.

The cleanup travels to Chapmanville the next weekend, August 14-16 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Rock Quarry.

The final leg of the cleanup will be held in Logan August 21- 23rd from 8 a.m.to 6 p.m. at the old K-City lot in Mount Gay.

Electronics will be accepted as well, although there will be a separate drop-off at all three locations. The commission says that drop-off will be visible from the main drop-off center.

Proof of Logan County residency is required for those who wish to participate.
