Ladies of Nighbert Memorial United Methodist Church in Logan held their annual “Girls Night Out” on Sept. 26, 2013, in the church fellowship hall.


Those attending enjoyed playing games, winning prizes, the jokes that were told and lots of good food was enjoyed.


Patty Roach was selected as “Sporty Shelia” and Vivian Thompson was selected as “Handy Hannah”. Both will reign throughout the year. Others selected were Susan Benson and Nancy Kirkendall as the “Funny Poster Girls” and Elizabeth Reed as the “Official Hugger”.


Those attending were Lukie Adkins, Elizabeth Reed, Karen Bradshaw, Jean Nisbet, Anita Lanthorne, Ann Vickers, Emma Jane Byrd, Gloria Stultz, Sharon Ballard, Susan Benson, Carol Gray, Vivian Thompson, Pat Amburgey, Jill Ballard, Jean Wintz, Helen Nelson, Lou Arnold, Linda Clark, Cindy Bell, Julianna Bell, Adoree Stanley, Nancy Kirkendall, Anita McCoy, Melissa Frye, Patty Roach, Edith Notchie, Ernestine Sutherland, Betty Napier, Darlene Napier, Barbara Mullins, Janis Clark, Elizabeth Witten and Liz Slater.


The event closed with the theme song, “I’m A Woman” accompanied by pianist Elizabeth Witten.
