In last Saturday’s game, Man scored its first points of the game as Chase Harvey scored on a 1-yard touchdown run. Hunter Epperheart ran in the two-point conversion to make it 8-0 at the 4:55 mark of the first quarter. Man pushed its lead to 16-0 with 1:25 left on an 11-yard TD run by Trey Whitt. QB Zach Cook hooked up with Case Harvey on the two-point conversion run.

Man extended the lead to 22-0 in the second quarter on a 29-yard touchdown catch by Michael Sorrell from Cook. The PAT run failed but Man led by three scores with 7:08 to play in the first half.

The Pioneers pushed their lead to a commanding 28-0 advantage on a 42-yard punt return for a touchdown by Chris Walker at the 5:14 mark.

Man added another score just before the half with 1:18 left on Epperheart’s 4-yard TD burst. The conversion failed but the Pioneers held a commanding 34-0 lead at the half.

Man then scored its final touchdown of the game with 7:41 left in the third with a 40-yard run by Cook to make it 40-0. The two-point conversion again failed.

Pioneers’ coach Tootie Carter then took his starters out and played his reserves for the remainder of the game as the Yellowjackets were able to score twice. The first score came on a 25-yard TD run by Tyler Cummings with 3:43 left in the third. The last touchdown was in the fourth quarter on a 15-yard run.
