HARTS — The Harts Middle School boys’ basketball team is off to a 3-0 start to the season after wins over Hamlin, Van and Duval.
Harts beat Hamlin 53-29 on Dec. 9, downed Van 40-22 on Dec. 4 and also scored a 40-18 win recently over Duval.
Drew Williamson poured in 29 points in the win over the Hamlin Bobcats. He was 5-for-11 from beyond the 3-point arc and also pulled down six rebounds.
Ty Strum had seven points, while Tucker Dalton and Kyle Browning had six points each. C.J. Dalton had three and Carson Toney two.
In the win over Van, Williamson again led the Lions with 14 points. He made two 3s. Browning also made two 3-pointers and finished with nine points.
C.J. Dalton tossed in seven, Strum six, Hunter Cook three and Toney two.
Harts led Duval 24-0 after one quarter and coasted to a win as Williamson tallied 11 points and C.J. Dalton 10. Browning had nine and Strum four. Toney, Nick Eldridge and Hunter Brumfield had two each.
