The Chapmanville Regional High School boys’ basketball team and the Logan High School girls are still ranked in the top 10 of their respective classes in this week’s AP poll.

The Chapmanville boys are ranked No. 5 in the state in Class AA. The Tigers (9-1) are tied with Westside (6-2) for fifth.

The Logan girls (9-4) are No. 7 this week in Class AAA.

The Chapmanville girls, who are 9-4 and first place in the Cardinal Conference with a 7-0 league mark are No. 12. Scott, a team Chapmanville beat 49-37 last week, is still No. 6 with a 6-2 record. The Lady Tigers and the Lady Hawks are in the same section.

Washington (9-0) is still first in this week’s Class AAA boys’ poll. Robert C. Byrd (10-0) is No. 1 in Class AA, while Huntington St. Joe (12-0) is first in the state in Single-A.
