Logan High School will induct J.D. Brammer and Libby Noe next week into the Logan High School Athletic Hall of Fame.
The two inductees will be honored through a series of events during the week of Sept 2-5.
On Thursday, Sept. 4, there will be a luncheon from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Logan Country Club, followed by a Hall of Fame golf outing at noon. The cost is $125.00 per team.
Then on Thursday evening, there will be a Hall of Fame dinner as Brammer and Noe will be formally inducted. The dinner will be held at the Logan Country Club and tickets are $30 per person. The social hour begins at 6 p.m. with the dinner to follow at 6:30 p.m.
On Friday, Sept. 5, Ms. Noe and Mr. Brammer will be honored during pre-game ceremonies before the Logan-Shady Spring football game at Logan Stadium.
Those ceremonies will begin at approximately at 7:10 p.m.
“We congratulate these graduates of Logan High School and look forward to celebrating this milestone with them,” LHS Athletics Director Brian Atkinson said.
Brammer was a letterman in football, basketball and baseball at Logan High School in the early 90s.
He went on to a distinguished professional baseball career in which he made it all the way to the Triple-A level of the minor leagues in the Cleveland Indians organization. Brammer was initially drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates but chose to play collegiate baseball instead at Stanford University.
Noe was a standout girls’ basketball player at LHS in the late 1970s and helped lead Logan to the 1977 girls’ basketball state tournament. It was the first state tournament appearance for the Lady Cats.
