About Jennifer

Jennifer "Jen" James was born and raised in Indiana. I have been in Newspaper Media for over 25 years. I am married to Gary who is self-employed as a licensed Mediator in the state of WV. I have 2 children. son, Jason Daniel and his wife Sarita, who live in North Dakota and daughter, Kayla Marie and husband Robert (Trauteris) who live in Plymouth, Indiana. We have not been blessed with grandchildren yet.

About Norman

Norman has been in the media, newspaper industry for more than 25 years. Married and no grandchildren. "My mission is to create a clear, new value for customers and meet their needs with innovative solutions," Norman said. "I strongly believe in urgency and continuous improvement."

About Joshua

Byers joined Heartland Publications in November 2005 leaving a position with Gannett. He has more than 20 years of newspaper experience working at both weekly and daily newspapers. He is passionate about local journalism and the important role that a community newspaper plays. He is married to Barbara and they have three sons, Cade, Jaekob and Jackston. About Martha

Martha Toth Sparks is a life-long Logan County resident. She began her employment part time as the updater for the Banner's website, www.loganbanner.com in June 2000. In November 2000, she was hired full-time as society editor. She and her husband, Dean, have been married for more than 40 years and are the parents of two children, Jonathan and Jessica, and one grandchild, Olivia.

About Debra

Debra Fuller Rolen has spent more time outside West Virginia than in it, but this area has always been home. She graduated from Williamson High School and has spent most of her West Virginia time in Matewan and Williamson. She and husband Roy recently moved across the river into Kentucky. She has two daughters, Caren Charles and Christina Birt and three grandchildren, Debra Paige Baisden, Savannah and Hunter Birt.

About Paul

Paul Adkins is the Sports Editor for the Logan Banner in Logan, W.Va. He is a graduate of Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, Mich., and has a Bachelor of Applied Arts degree in journalism. Adkins graduated from Holly High School in Holly, Mich. He and his wife, Jessica, have two children -- Emily and Ethan. Adkins lives in Delbarton, W.Va.

About Robin

Robin Frye Richards was raised in Central City/Slabtown of Logan WV and graduated from Logan High School. Robin and her husband, Greg, have been married for more than 16 years. She has worked for the Logan Banner since February 1999 where she was employed as the secretary for the ad department before being advanced to an Advertising Sales Representative.

About BJ

BJ Beaty is a 1997 graduate of Man High School and attended Southern WV Community and Technical College majoring in business administration. She has been employed with The Logan Banner since 2004. BJ truly enjoys her job. "I love seeing my customers get results from their advertising in print and online at www.loganbanner.com," BJ said. "It makes my job worthwhile." BJ says faith is a huge part of my life. " I attend church at Orville Holiness Church where my husband, Jason is a minister. We have been married for 10 years," BJ said. "In 2007, we were blessed with the light of our lives, a daughter, Peyton Elizabeth-Brooke. Now 4 years old and attending Pre-K, Peyton continues to amaze and bless us everyday. "I am blessed beyond measure! I love my job. I couldn't ask for better customers or friends."

About Cindy

Cindy was born and raised in Man, WV and is a 2008 graduate of Man High School with a diploma is Business Communication. She began working for The Logan Banner in October 2012. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends and boyfriend, Jason. Together, Cindy and Jason attend Orville Holiness Church, where Jason is a minister.

About Vickie

Vickie graduated from Man High School in 1972 with a clerical diploma. She began working with The Logan Banner in December 2002.
