LAKE, W.Va. — Barbara Jean Rollins, 71, of Lake, departed this life Wednesday,

February 22, 2012, at her home.

Born February 10, 1941, at Bias' Branch, she was a daughter of the late William E. and Tina Mable Dotson. Also preceding her in death was her grandmother, Lottie Dotson, and one sister, Lowanna Gloeckle.

Barbara was a member of Mill Creek Church of God. She enjoyed going to church, visiting family and gardening.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Michael D. Rollins; one daughter, Victoria Lynn (Tim) Perry of Lake; one son, A. Leo Jr. (Susie) Ball of Mill Creek; one grandchild, Megan Brooke Ball of Lake; one brother-in-law, Keith Gloeckle; one nephew, William (Rachel) Gloeckle of Lake; her father and mother-in-law, Charles and Mona Rollins; special friend, Carol “Red” Stiltner; several cousins, Joann (Wendell) Rollins and Glenn Nichols, both of Chapmanville, and many more from the Kirkendoll, Nichols, Harrison, Armentrout, and Johnson families; and the wonderful family of the Mill Creek Church of God, we thank you all.

Services will be held at noon, Saturday, February 25, at Freeman Funeral Home with Trent Belford officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens at Godby. Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Freeman Funeral Home of Chapmanville is in charge of the arrangements.
