A boil water notice has been issued for three communities in Logan County.

On Thursday, the Logan County Public Service District issued a boil water advisory for the communities of Yuma, Monitor Park and Dog Patch due to a break in a waterline.

The Logan County PSD issued some instructions for residents on how to boil their water before using.

“Bring the water to a boil, let it boil for one minute and let it cool before using, or use bottled water,” the PSD said in a press release issued early Thursday. “We will inform the customers of this area when they no longer need to boil their water.”

The PSD also asks that residents of these areas spread the word about the boil water notice.

“Please share this information with all the other people who are customers in this area, especially those who may not have received this notice,” the PSD release said.

For more information, call the Logan County Public Service District at 304-946-2641.
