The Bright Star Freewill Baptist Church at Melville held a Valentine Celebration in the Fellowship Hall of the church on Sunday, February 10, 2013.
The speaker at morning worship was James Vance. Songs of worship were sung by Tara Lucas, Karen Evans, Ernie Burgess, Joey Hager and J.J. Johnson, and Becky Dillon and Bazzill Goodman.
Stephen and Tara Lucas were crowned Valentine King and Queen following morning worship services. Mr. and Mrs. Lucas were presented with gifts. Mrs. Lucas received a crown and bouquet of roses. Stephen and Tara are the first couple to be crowned Valentine King and Queen at Bright Star.
A dinner, catered by The Surrey House of Chapmanville, was enjoyed by all.
