CHAPMANVILLE, W.Va. — Mrs. Carol Dingess, 50, of Chapmanville, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, April 29, 2009, at her residence.

Born April 27, 1959, at Sandusky, Ohio, she was a daughter of Lottie Caudill Hensley Farley of Harts and the late William C. Hensley. Also preceding her in death was a brother, William R. Hensley.

Carol loved being with her grandchildren. She attended Southern Community and Technical College of Mt. Gay and Faith Apostolic Lighthouse Church of West Fork.

Additionally, those left to cherish her memory include her four daughters, Angela Workman of Chapmanville, Elizabeth (Aaron) Farley of East Bank, Kimberly Terry of Charleston and Becky L. (Paul) Workman of West Salem, Ohio; sisters, Janet (George) Hardwick of Aberdeen, Md., Bernice Ellerman of Carlisle, Pa., and June (John) Peck of Delbarton; brothers, Harold Hensley of New York, Fred (Sherry) Hensley of Baltimore, Md., and Ted (Tammy) Hensley and James (Kelly) Farley, both of Chapmanville; grandchildren, Talena, Paul, Rodney, Ariel, Steven, Jacob, Jocelyne, Jasmine, Joey and Katelyn; step-father, James T. Farley of Harts, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, May 4, at the Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Ted Hensley officiating. Burial will follow at the Farley-Hensley Cemetery on West Fork of Harts.

Pallbearers will be James Farley, Ronnie Dingess, Paul Workman, Jason Rose, Aaron Farley and John Peck.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ted Hensley and James T. Farley.

Freeman Funeral Home of Chapmanville is in charge of arrangements.
