BARBOURSVILLE, W.Va. — Cornelia I. Hazelrigg, 101, of Barboursville, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2012, in Chateau Grove Senior Living at Barboursville.
Born August 5, 1911, in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, she was a daughter of the late G.M. and Bell DeCeu Douglas. Also preceding her in death was her husband, John Hazelrgg, and one son, James M. Hazelrigg.
Cornelia was a 1929 Logan High School graduate, attended Rochester Business Institute in Rochester, N.Y. in 1932, was a member of the Holden Woman’s Club for 23 years and a member of Holden Community Church and Farmdale Church of Christ at Barboursville.
Survivors include one daughter-in-law, Patsy K. Hazelrigg of Barboursville; two grandchildren, John and Melanie Gue and Sabrina Ruth; four great-grandchildren, Josh, Nick and Sam Ruth and Edy Gue.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, October 26, at Highland Memory Gardens at Godby with Danny Evans, minister, officiating. Burial will follow the services. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m.-noon Friday at Henson Mortuary at Barboursville.
