Four children recently spent two hours picking up litter on the play-ground at East Grade School in Chapmanville. While playing one afternoon at the school, the children decided they wanted to get the playground ready for the students to have a clean place to play and have fun. They children returned the next day to pick up the litter, which filled four bags. Pictured, from left, is Isaac Bentham, Blaze Bentham and Jackson Bentham of Las Vegas, Nev., who are in Chapmanville on vacation visiting their grandmother, Corba Dean Baker, and Kennedy Dean, the daughter of David and Shae Dean of Chapmanville. Kennedy will enter the third grade at East Chapmanville Grade School.
