Cops make burglary arrests

Local law enforcement officers have made several burglary arrests recently.

• Paul David Cantrell, 21, of Kistler, was arrested by West Virginia State Police Trooper G.W. Collins for daytime burglary and grand larceny on Nov. 26.

Cantrell was taken into custody and booked at the Southwestern Regional Jail at Holden at 10:13 p.m.

• Michael Ray Richards, 45, of Romulus, was arrested by West Virginia State Police Trooper S.M. Boyles for breaking and entering and grand larceny on Nov. 20.

Richards was taken into custody and booked at the Southwestern Regional Jail at Holden at 5:05 p.m.

• Lori Falon Stevenson, 27, of Chapmanville, was arrested by Logan County Sheriff’s Deputy J.L. Mathis for petit larceny and capias on Nov. 19.

Stevenson was booked at the regional jail at 5:52 p.m.

• Malcolm Ray Meade Jr., 21, of Verdunville, was arrested by West Virginia State Police Trooper J.K. Harris for two counts of grand larceny, one of which allegedly happened in Lincoln County, on Nov. 2.

Meade was also charged with grand larceny by Tpr. J.D. Hensley in a separate police incident that allegedly happened on Aug. 30 in which allegedly stole a dirtbike from another victim. Meade was booked at the Southwestern Regional Jail at Holden at 11:45 a.m.
