MADISON, W.Va. — Mrs. Edna Marion Lindsay White, 81, of Madison, was born July 12, 1929 at Fairmont, a daughter of the late Bryl and Virginia Glenn Mick. She departed this life Monday, January 24, 2011, at Trinity Healthcare Services of Logan.

Mrs. White was a faithful wife, mother, servant of God, teacher’s aide at Scott High School and Boone County Head Start, a member of the Bias Branch Freewill Baptist Church and a volunteer for over 20 years at the Boone Nursing Home.

Survivors include her husband, Howard White; children, Rebecca Scalf, Deborah (Roger) Mc-Micken, Kathleen Gibson, Pam (Terry) Jeffrey, Elizabeth Lindsay (Sam Dingess) and Walt (Tammy) Lindsay; siblings, Jim (Ann) Mick, Tom (Lillian) Mick and Sue (John) Parlett; 13 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren…

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 27, at the Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services. with Rev. Scotty Elswick officiating. Burial will follow in the Local 781 Cemetery at Madison.

Family will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will begin one hour prior to the services Thursday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dignity Hospice, 557 Main St. Chapmanville, WV 25508.

The family wishes to extend a very special thank you to all the staff at Trinity Healthcare Services of Logan.
