OCALA, Fla. — Mrs. Elizabeth Dingess Hager, 85, of Ocala, Fla., passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2013.
Born May 14, 1927, she was the youngest of eight children of the late Floyd and Oma Dingess Godby. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Ernest L. Hager; son, E. Michael Hager, and daughter, Cathy Hager.
Elizabeth and her husband moved to Ocala in 1972 from Chapmanville where she was an elementary teacher. Her career in Early Childhood Education spanned over 45 years teaching in West Virginia and in Marion County, Fla. She was a member of the Maricamp Road Church of Christ.
Survivors include several nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, and friends whom she dearly loved.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 5, at Highland Memory Gardens at Godb with John Steele, Minister, officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Maricamp Road Church of Christ, 2750 SE Maricamp Rd., Ocala, FL 34471.
