IAEGER – The Gilbert High School girls’ basketball team improved to 1-2 on the season with Saturday’s 65-32 win over Mount View at the Iaeger Shootout.
Gilbert led 18-6 after one quarter, 31-11 at the half and 49-21 after three.
Danielle Butcher had 16, Crystal Lester 14, Keasha Browning had nine, Danielle Browning eight, Chrissy Farmer six, Kalenia Ellis four and Brittany Colegrove two.
Kanisha Cleage led Mount View (1-4) with 14 points.
Gilbert returns to action tonight against Iaeger in the first game of Gilbert’s Mollette-Murphy Invitational at 7 p.m.
