JOYCE DAVIS

SAN ANGELO, Texas — Joyce Davis, 73, of San Angelo, Texas, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2012.

Born May 26, 1939, in Logan, she was a daughter of the late Donald and Amy Garnet Vance Stamper. Also preceding her in death was one son, Paul Frederick Thorson.

Joyce was an LVN and worked for a Travel Nursing Agency and the San Angelo State School. Her hobbies were traveling, estate sales, flea markets, farmers markets and gardening both flowers and tomatoes.

Joyce was married to Henry Davis on.

Survivors include her husband Henry Davis, whom she married September 27, 2003, in Denison, Texas; three daughters Kathy Rose (Bill) Cueva of Denison, Lena Elizabeth (Ted) Sanson of Mallory and Kirsten Lee (Mike) Salzano of San Angelo; one son, Dr. Kenneth Emory (Maxine) Breedlove of San Angelo; grandchildren, Alee Breedlove and Ivan and Tito Breedlove, all of San Angelo, Brittany (Steve) Reineke of Anna, Texas, Joshua (Terra) Cueva of Denison, Daniel Cueva of San Marcos, Texas, Amanda Michelle Sanson of Mallory and Amy Lynn Bunch of Davin; five great-grandchildren and a very special cousin, Loretta (Steve) Smith.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. today, September 12, in Johnson’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Joshua Cueva, Steve Reineke, Ivan Breedlove, Tito Breedlove, Colton Cmerek and Daniel Cueva.
