PECKS MILL, W.Va. — Loretta Mauk, 85, of Pecks Mill, departed this life Friday, October 12, 2012, at her residence.

Born November 30, 1926, in Grayson, Ky., she was a daughter of the late Arvil and Sadie Mayo Littleton. Also preceding her in death was her husband, William Bill Mauk Sr., and a sister, Geneve McMillian.

Loretta was a homemaker and a member of the Pecks Mill United Methodist Church where she loved being involved in the Ladies Ministry.

Survivors include her sons, Bill Jr. (Linda) Mauk of Crooked Creek and Larry (Yvonne) Mauk of Pecks Mill; grandchildren, Keith (Theresa) Mauk of Elizabethtown, Ky., Stephen (Netosha) Mauk of Crooked Creek, Lori Scott of Newman, Ga., and Brooke (Jeremy) Cline of South Man; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Eileen Easterling of Grayson, and brother, Cecil (Kathy) Littleton of Dayton, Ohio.

Special thanks to her caretakers: Pauline Collins, Robbie Brewer and Angie Muncey.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, October 15, at James Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ken Conley officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.

Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and honorary pallbearer is Jack Gibson.

James Funeral Home of Aracoma is in charge of the arrangements.
