LUANNA CREAKMAN

STIRRAT, W.Va. — Luanna Thompson Creakman, 82, of Stirrat, passed away Monday, June 4, 2012, at Logan Center.

Born August 9, 1929, at Micco, she was a daughter of the late Walden and Sarah Mullins Thompson. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Raymond Creakman; three sisters, Wealthy Thompson, Belle Conner and Louise Jeffrey, and four brothers, Tommy, Willard, Milton and William Thompson.

Mrs. Creakman was a retired U.S. Postmaster from the Stirrat Post Office and a member of the Stirrat Community Church.

Survivors include one son, Danny (Melissa) Creakman of Monaville; two brothers, Frank (Stella) Thompson of Micco and Melvin Thompson of Tipp City, Ohio, and one sister, Effie (Danny) Castle of Micco.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 8, at the Stirrat Community Church with Pastor Wayne Meadows Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.

Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Thursday at the Collins Funeral Home Chapel.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
