THREE MILE CURVE — Logan Center residents recently selected Preston Collins and Sara Bradbury as their 2013 Valentine’s Day King and Queen.

The couple was crowned in the dining room of the facility which had been decorated for the Valentine’s Day festivity. Residents also enjoyed colorful and delicious food for the event.

“The king and queen were thrilled when they were told that the residents had selected them to represent Logan Center as the 2013 king and queen,” said Recreation Director Betty Conn. “They both were escorted for the entire hallway to the dining room to the song ‘you must have been a beautiful baby, cause baby look at you now.’”

Queen Sara received a beautiful wrist corsage and King Preston received a boutonnière made by local florist.

The royal couple was also adorned with robes and headwear for their titles.

Residents also had Valentines, made by a local high school, to present to the royal couple.

Another added attraction for Valentine’s Day at the center was the vocational school students located next door to the facility.

“They came to facility at two different times — morning and afternoon — to present all the residents with valentines cards,” said Conn. “We had a packed dining room to help celebrate this special occasion for Sara and Preston.”
