This year the pageant will be a two day event. Dates for the pageant are set for September 23-24 at 6 p.m. each day at the Chapmanville Municipal Building. On the 23rd, contestant for Miss (16-21 years), Jr. Miss (13-15 years) and petite Miss (8-12 years.) will compete. On the 24th contestants for Little Miss (5-7 years), Little Prince (2-4 years), Little Princess (2-4 years), Wee Mister (06-24 months) and Wee Miss (06-24 months) will compete. Each category will also have winners for most photogenic, prettiest eyes, prettiest smile and prettiest hair.
The 2012 Miss Apple Butter Festival will crown the winners on the 24th and reign over the Apple Butter Festival Pageant September 30-October 1. The Apple Butter Festival Beauty pageant is a registered WV Fairs and Festival pageant. The queen will be given the opportunity to compete in the Fairs and Festivals Pageant in Charleston.
