CHAPMANVILLE, W.Va. — Mr. Neil E. Warren, 62, of Chapmanville, was born September 27, 1947, at Stirrat, a son of the late Gail Meade Warren and Glenn H. Warren. He departed this life Thursday, July 15, 2010, at the residence of his uncle and aunt, Melvin and Murial Meade, with whom he made his residence.

Also preceding him in death was his grandparents, Winfield and Gladys Meade.

Neil was a retired security officer and a member of the Chapmanville Church of God and Justice Christian Church.

Additional survivors include uncles and aunts: Philip (Teresa) Meade of Chapmanville, Shelby (Cheryl) Meade of Petersburg, Va., Karen (Robert) Whetstone of Manheim, Pa., and Gwenvil (Dorothy) Meade of Sandusky, Ohio, and a host of cousins, friends and family.

At Neil’s request, his body was cremated. A family memorial service will be held at a later time.
