This week, the Obama White House crossed the line of free speech as no other President in the history of these United States. Tuesday, the FCC approved new rules to give the federal government formal authority to regulate Internet traffic. This action is clearly an attack on our First Amendment right free speech in America.
Democrats all across this nation saw the results from the last election and realized that their pro-Communist agenda cannot win in the arena of ideas (except in West Virginia where we vote based on our dead grandparents opinion). So, they’ve decided to tip the scales in their favor by reaching out to control the internet. By doing this, they can determine who gets to speak, what they say, where they say it, when they say it and to whom they say it. Basically, they want totalitarian control over our most basic freedom, our opinion. Sadly, our esteemed Senator Jay Rockefeller appears to be in complete agreement with this position. Please allow me to quote the Senator from earlier this month; "There's a little bug inside of me which wants to get the FCC to say to FOX and to MSNBC: 'Out. Off. End. Goodbye.' It would be a big favor to political discourse; our ability to do our work here in Congress, and to the American people, to be able to talk with each other and have some faith in their government and more importantly, in their future."
The Senator’s position here can only be one of two things; either he is saying we the people are too stupid to ferret out the truth when it comes to political debate or we should simply learn to trust our government leaders and avoid political debate altogether. These are the only two positions the good Senator can be taking here. Both would make Thomas Jefferson turn over in his grave!
If we were truly concerned about the constitutional positions of our elected officials, we could look back at their previous actions and comments to see if there is a pattern of un-American beliefs. Well, as it turns out Jay has voiced his opposition to free speech previously. In 2009, the Senator, speaking as Senate Transportation Committee Chairman, posed the question of whether we should have allowed the internet to have been developed at all! Of course, his musings were disguised behind the fears of cyber attacks. But, apparently Jay doesn’t understand that all freedoms are by nature subject to attack. This is why they must always be vigorously defended.
Nevertheless, it appears that Mr. Rockefeller prefers to ration freedoms to the rest of us as he and his fellow enlightened elites deem we should have them. But, don’t let that upset you; he’s a Democrat, and that alone makes him worthy of reelection! Don’t worry about those new FEMA camps, or those micro-chip implants in your cell phones, or those pesky new gun laws they want. Democrats like Obama and Rockefeller are for the little guy. They will watch over your every need. All you need to do is trust them … all the way to the internment camp!

Now imagine what could be done in the name of the our Commander-in-chief's name. The President of the United States of America can send orders directly to our military and those orders be obeyed.
With our information, relatively few people would be affected. With the President's information in the wrong hands, nations could be affected. The entire United States could be affected. Personally, I don't want a terrorist wanna-be to have that kind of power and influence.
Besides, with all the conspiracy theorists stirring up all the paranoia out there, the long-form could be posted, but a couple days later, I am sure that someone could and would say that it was just a forged document and we all would be back at square 1 in the "conspiracy saga". Some people would argue a black sheep was white even if that sheep was right in front of them and there would be nothing you and I could do to change that person's mind about it.
Check these newspapers out; Honolulu Advertiser or the Honolulu Star-Bulletin for the week of August 4, 1961. In one of their editions for that week is a birth announcement for Pres. Obama. The newspaper will only print such an announcement when they receive that information from that state's department of health. That is not likely to be an easy fake since it was in 1961 and the family of President Obama had no influence on the matter. You would have to propose that this "conspiracy" started at President Obama's birth and given the racist atmosphere of the 1960's, I am sure a half-black baby would have been predicted to become president. I have an active imagination, but I can't even go that far.

I wasn't meaning that "law abiding" citizens should monitor the internet. I don't think that any government has the right to control what is being said and done as long as it doesn't hurt innocent kids or violates the rights that our constitution currently provides us.
I, for one, would like to know what made someone in the FCC feel that the traffic on the internet needs to be controlled in the first place.
Why is this not getting out? Because it would create a national crises! So many questions about Obama like: does he have a social security number issued from Connecticut?
Here is the sad truth; the liberals are tired of this guy. They know he is WAY over his head, but they don’t want to admit it! As long as he stays on permanent vacation, he can’t mess things up as much. By next year, Obama will announce he will be a one term president opening the doors for other Democrats to compete. Pray that we don’t get into a situation with Korea or Russia or China that requires a leader!

However, I do fear that putting the government in control of the internet is a bad thing. I think it opens a lot of doors for someone to abuse our rights to free speech. I think that monitoring the internet for cyber predators is a good thing, but to be able to control what is the average, law abiding person does on the internet is treacherous ground for a government entity to tread upon.

In 4 years Bush Sr took 543 days.
In 8 years Reagan took 436 days.
In 8 years Bush Jr was known as the vacation President and the war time president that was missing in action.
In 8 years Bush Jr took 977 days, I beleive that is approx. 3 years in 8 years.
