The Logan Chapter No. 60 Order of the Eastern Star had installation of officers on June 26, 2012 at the Masonic Temple on Main St. in Logan.
Officers installed were Nancy Killen, Worthy Matron; John C. Wellman, Worthy Patron; Mary Kinser, Associate Matron; Terry Kinser, Associate Patron; Delores Lovejoy, Secretary; Patricia Vinson, Treasurer; Ruth Ann Hagaman, Conductress; Diane Hensley, Associate Conductress; Doug Hensley, Chaplain; Patricia Hensley, Marshal; Judy Slater-Smith, Organist; Virginia Dempsey, Adah; Sue Regan-Baisden, Ruth; Sherry May, Esther; Nola Kinser, Martha; Gena Honeycutt, Electa; Debra E. Wellman, Warder, and Ervin Hensley, Sentinel.
Logan Chapter No. 60 Order of the Eastern Star has changed their stated meeting to the first Thursday of each month.
On October 12, 1912, Logan Chapter No. 60 Order of the Eastern Star received their Charter, making this year their 100th birthday. A big celebration is being planned for October 12, 2012.
