RUBY TOLER
RIVERVIEW, W.Va. — Ruby Gail Rogers Toler of Riverview “Slabtown”, passed away Tuesday July 17, 2012, at her home.
Born in Pikeville, Ky., she was a daughter of the late Pat and Bessie Gillispie Rogers. Also preceding her in death were three sisters, Martha Moore, Peggy Johnson and Freda Ellis, and a brother, Patty Rogers.
Ruby was a retired Personal Care Giver and attended the Riverview Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include her loving husband of 34 years, Terry Lee Toler; three daughters Linda Simpson (Chris Black) of Gainesville, Ga., Tonya (Joseph) Cosner and Misty (Larry) Browning, both of Statesville, N.C.; a son, Terry Eugene (Becky) Toler and Statesville; a sister, Patricia Justus of Statesville; two brothers, Elmer Rogers and Larry Rogers, both of Statesville; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a special friend, Bonnie Richards of Riverview, and a host of other loving family and friends.
Services will be held at noon Sunday, July 22, at the Riverview Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Browning and Rev. Jimmy Joe Grimmett officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
Visitation will begin after 6 p.m. Saturday at the church.
Pallbearers will be John Rogers, Johnnie Simpson, Bobby Rogers, Herbie Toler and Gary Wayne Toler.
Honorary pallbearers will be Elmer Rogers and Larry Rogers.
