Students and staff of Road Branch Elementary & Middle School held their annual Veteran's Balloon Lift on Thursday, November 10, 2011. In addition to the balloon lift, a dedication of the new flag poles and flags was also made in honor of all veterans. Mr. Gene Blankenship and the third grade class decorated the fence and members of the DAV and VFW were also on hand for the dedication ceremony. A memorial stone was made that will be installed beneath the flags to commemorate the dedication. (Photo | Submitted)
