Sept. Grand Jury indictments released

Indictments handed down during the September term of the Grand Jury includes several child abuse charges.

Those listed in the criminal court docket for Circuit Judge Eric O’Briant and amount of bond include:

• Shannon Akers was indicted for delivery of a Schedule I controlled substance. A $25,000 bond was posted.

• Rebecca Borders, aka Rebecca Carter, was indicted for possession of a Schedule II controlled substance with the intent to deliver, conspiracy to possess a Schedule II controlled substance with the intent to deliver, two counts conspiracy to transfer stolen property, receiving stolen property and attempt to transfer stolen property. No bound over. No bond.

• Walker Bragg was indicted on operating a clandestine drug laboratory and conspiracy to operate a clandestine drug laboratory. No bound over. No bond.

• James Browning Jr. was indicted for child abuse resulting in injury and domestic battery. A $5,000 cash alternative bond was posted.

• Curtis Canterbury was indicted on sexual abuse in the first degree. $10,000 cash alternative bond posted.

• John Dempsey was indicted on burglary and grand larceny. $10,000 bond posted.

• John Dempsey was indicted on burglary, grand larceny, conspiracy to commit burglary and conspiracy to commit grand larceny. $10,000 bond posted.

• Nellie Dempsey was indicted on burglary, grand larceny, conspiracy to commit burglary and conspiracy to commit grand larceny. A $5,000 personal recognizance bond was posted.

• Kimberly Evans was indicted on two counts child neglect resulting in injury. No bound over. No bond.

• Sarah Farley was indicted on breaking and entering, grand larceny, transferring stolen property and conspiracy to transfer stolen property. No bound over. No bond.

• William D. Farley was indicted on burglary, grand larceny, conspiracy to commit burglary and conspiracy to commit grand larceny. No bound over. No bond.

• Kyle Scott Fields was indicted for sexual assault third degree, use of minors in filming sexually explicit conduct, and distributing and exhibiting of material depicting minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct. No bond information listed.

• William T. Gore was indicted for burglary, grand larceny, conspiracy to commit burglary and conspiracy to commit grand larceny. $3,500 personal recognizance bond posted.

• Jody Hall was indicted for malicious assault. No bond information given.

• Jody Hall was indicted for third or subsequent offense domestic battery. No bound over. No bond.

• Christopher Justice was indicted for third or subsequent offense driving while license revoked for driving under the influence of alcohol, controlled substances or drugs, no insurance and failure to maintain control. $5,000 cash bond posted.

• Christopher Justice was indicted for third or subsequent offense driving while license revoked for driving under the influence of alcohol, controlled substances or drugs, no insurance and leaving the scene of an accident with property damage. $5,000 cash bond posted.

• Paula Marie Kirk was indicted for embezzlement and two counts of petit larceny. $10,000 personal recognizance bond posted.

• Philemon Maynard was indicted for burglary, grand larceny, conspiracy to commit burglary and conspiracy to commit grand larceny. No bound over. No bond.

• Richard McCoy was indicted for two counts child abuse resulting in injury and two counts domestic battery. No bound over. No bond.

• Michael Scaggs was indicted for operating a clandestine drug laboratory and conspiracy to operate a clandestine drug laboratory. $25,000 personal recognizance bond posted.

• Katherine Scarberry was indicted on child neglect resulting in injury. No bound over. No bond.

• Rhonda Sparks was indicted for grand larceny. No bound over. No bond.

• Larry Traylor was indicted for possession of a Schedule II controlled substance with intent to deliver, conspiracy to possess a Schedule II controlled substance with intent to deliver, conspiracy to transfer stolen property, receiving stolen property and attempt to transfer stolen property. Personal recognizance bond posted. No bond amount given.

• Amy White was indicted for delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance. No bound over. No bond.

• Ladonna Whitt was indicted for three counts deliver of a Schedule II controlled substance and delivery of a Schedule IV controlled substance.
