Area law enforcement officers have made many DUI and alcohol related arrests in recent weeks including one involving injuries.

• Bradley Keith Dingess, 27, of Chapmanville, was arrested in Logan County by West Virginia State Police Trooper G.W. Collins for DUI causing bodily injury on Oct. 23.

According to police reports, on Oct. 22, Tpr. Collins responded to a call from the Mill Creek area in regards to a two-vehicle accident and reportedly detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from one of the drivers.

"The accused had been driving the vehicle which struck the other vehicle," the report states, adding that Dingess was given the standard field sobriety tests, which he then failed.

He reportedly failed the intoximeter test as well.

No further information was available at press time regarding the injured parties.

Dingess was booked at the Southwestern Regional Jail at Logan at 1:35 a.m.

• James Michael Walker, 40, residence not listed, was arrested in Logan County by the WVSP for DUI and driving left of center on Oct. 29. He was booked at the regional jail at 12:15 a.m.

• Natasha White, 18, residence not listed, was arrested in Logan County by the WVSP for public intoxication, underage consumption and destruction of property on Oct. 29. She was booked at the regional jail at 1:50 a.m.

• Nicholas Keith Blankenship, 28, residence not listed, was arrested in Logan County by the Logan Police Department for DUI and failure to stop on Oct. 25. He was booked at the regional jail at 3:15 a.m.

• Scottie David White, 22, residence not listed, was arrested in Logan County by the Logan Police Department for DUI and driving on a suspended license on Oct. 22. He was booked at the regional jail at 4:30 a.m.

• Kimberly Dawn May, 32, residence not listed, was arrested in Logan County by the WVSP for permitting DUI, obstructing and public intoxication on Oct. 21. She was booked at the regional jail at 6:45 p.m.

• Gary Lee Jeffrey, 24, residence not listed, was arrested in Logan County by the WVSP for failure to maintain control and driving on a revoked license on Oct. 6. He was booked at the regional jail at 11:10 p.m.

• Timothy Lee Meade, 48, residence not listed, was arrested in Logan County by the WVSP for driving on a revoked license on Oct. 4. He was booked at the regional jail at 12:30 a.m.

• David Lee Bumgarner, 45, residence not listed, was arrested in Logan County by the WVSP for driving on a suspended license and obstructing an officer on Oct. 3. He was booked at the regional jail 3:30 a.m.

• Roy Howard Browning, 56, residence not listed, was arrested in Logan County by the WVSP for public intoxication and disorderly conduct on Sept. 29. He was booked at the regional jail at 1:30 a.m.

• Branden Shane Cook, 28, residence not listed, was arrested in Logan County by the Man Police Department for driving on a revoked license on Sept. 28. He was booked at the regional jail at 10:10 p.m.

• Kierston Brooke Ellis, 18, residence not listed, was arrested by the Logan Police Department for failure to report an accident and leaving the scene of an accident on Sept. 18. She was booked at the regional jail at 8:20 p.m.

• Lisa Dawn Whitt, 43, residence not listed, was arrested in Logan County for driving on a revoked license, no insurance and improper registration on Sept. 16. She was booked at the regional jail at 11:33 p.m.

• Russell Cecil Blankenship, 28, residence not listed,was arrested in Logan County for driving on a revoked license on Sept. 23. He was booked at the regional jail at 11 p.m.

• Anthony David Turner, 38, residence not listed, was arrested in Logan County for driving on a revoked license, no insurance and no registration on Sept. 15. He was booked at the regional jail at 5:31 p.m.

• Scott Dwayne Workman, 46, residence not listed, was arrested in Logan County for driving revoked and no insurance on Sept. 8. He was booked at the regional jail at 1:15 a.m.

• Jimmy Kazee, 52, residence not listed, was arrested in Logan County for driving on a revoked license on Sept. 8. He was booked at the regional jail at 8:57 p.m.
