HARTS, W.Va. — Teresa Ann Messer, 44, of Harts, departed this life Wednesday, December 23, 2009, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington.

Born September 5, 1965, in Logan, she was a daughter of Phyllis Ann Messer and the late Erman Messer. Also preceding her in death were her grandparents, Warren and Violet Browning and John and Margret Messer.

Additionally, those left to cherish her memory include one son, Christopher Allen (Felicia) Kirk; two brothers, Brian and Jerry Messer; her fiancé, Dave Lucas; two nephews, Josh and Tanner Messer; several aunts, uncles and many friends.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 29, at the Freeman Funeral Home at Chapmanville with Rev. Elbert Collins Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Adkins Cemetery at Coal Branch of Big Harts.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Visitation will be from 6-10 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
