Mr. Adams was a disabled construction worker.
Preceding him in death was one brother, Glen Alan Adams, and grandparents, Johnnie and Anna Adams and Frank and Victoria Farley.
Additional survivors include his companion of 30 years, Shirley Whaley; daughter, Charlene (fiancée’ Randy Ashbaugh) Adams of Defiance, Ohio; brother, Neal (Lisa) Adams of Harts; two sisters, Delores (Harold) Dingess and Dianna (Manuel) Fekete, both of Harts; three nieces, Anna Lucinda Dingess, Clarissa Fekete and Alexis Fekete; six nephews, Barry C. Dingess, Robby Dingess, Harold Dingess Jr., Joseph N. Dingess, Johnnie Bollinger and Joseph Bollinger; foster children, Edward, Monica, Chastity, Darlene, Amy and Tony, and a host of family and friends.
Services will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, March 12, at the Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services at Chapmanville with Elder Dallas Meeks, Elder Tom Vance and Brother Tommie Vance officiating. Burial will follow at the Johnnie Adams Cemetery at Trace Fork of Harts.
Pallbearers will be family members and friends.
