CHAPMANVILLE, W.Va. — Trevor Tomblin, 34 of Banco Road in Chapmanville, departed this life Sunday, February 19, 2012, at 2:19 p.m. at CAMC General Division in Charleston.

Born September 24, 1977, in Huntington, he was a son of Darrell and Brenda Tomblin of Chapmanville.

Preceding him in death were his paternal grandparents, Leslie and Lola Maynard; maternal grandparents, Grady and Patsy Nelson, and an aunt, Pamela Sue Maynard.

Trevor was a 1995 graduate of Chapmanville High School. He also attended First Baptist Christian School in Chapmanville. He worked as a warehouseman for Walker Machinery for several years. Trevor enjoyed four wheeling with ATVs and pickup trucks. He loved to spend time playing with his kids and his pet Labrador Retrievers. He liked bonfires, guitars, passing a football around and anything that involved being outdoors. Trevor was handy with tools and was appreciated by family and friends for his willingness to help with a wide variety of jobs whether they involved home improvement projects or automobile repairs. He was known for his quick wit and compelling smile and was well liked by many.

Additionally, those left to cherish his memory include a daughter, Genoah; son, Trent; his companion of eight years, Janna; Janna's children, Nathan, Takota and Anthony Lucion; his former wife, Kimra; brother, Derek; sister-in-law, Kristin; two nieces, Kelsey and Kaylie; several aunts, uncles and cousins and many close friends.

Private services were held Thursday, February 23, at the James Funeral Home Chapel.

James Funeral Home of Aracoma was in charge of the arrangements.
