KING, N.C. — Calla Jordan, 68, of King, N.C., passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2012, at her home.

Born June 2, 1944, in Boise, Idaho, she was a daughter of the late James and Ruth Maynard Jordan.

Calla was a 1962 graduate of Logan High School and a former employee of Colane Corp. at Omar.

Survivors include her daughter, Karen (Randy) Phelps of Pinnacle, N.C.; her ex-husband, Edward Hatfield of North Carolina; brother, James Jr. (Betty Tupis) Jordan of Wisconsin; uncle and aunt, Ben and Mildred Maynard of Barboursville, and two nieces.

As per her wishes, Calla was cremated.

Calla was a wonderful person and will be missed by all who knew her.
