The Sassy Red Hat Society met at the Surrey House in Chapmanville for their October meeting with Beverly Roark as hostess. Doris Jarrell presented a program that stressed the idea that learning to accept the faults of others and learning to celebrate their differences is the key to creating a healthy, growing and lasting relationship. Those in attendance were Jane Watkins, Gloria Martin, Lucille McDonald, Edna Napier, Doris Hall, Gladys Vance, Barbara Hale, Doris Jarrell, Beverly Roark, Joy White and Carl.
