Lady Billies statebound!

The Man High School girls’ basketball team poses for a team picture after knocking off homestanding Fayetteville 79-71 in double overtime on Thursday night in the Class A regional championship game. The victory moves Man (15-10) into the Class A state tournament at the Charleston Civic Center where the Lady Billies will meet No. 1 Huntington St. Joe (22-1) on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. For Man, it’s the first trip to the girls’ state tourney since 2008 when the Lady Billies lost in the opening round to Wheeling Central, 45-31.
