From the songs and stories of a true legend comes a theatrical musical experience that will lift your heart and stir your soul. Ring of Fire is a journey into the heart and heartland of America, courtesy of one of Arkansas’ most beloved musical poets – Johnny Cash.

Chris Blisset, director of “Ring of Fire,” has directed the music to two national tours of “Stand By Your Man: The Tammy Wynette Story” – for one of which he played Billy Sherrill.

As a director he has worked in a dozen states on everything from Johnny Cash to Shakespeare, including musicals and children’s theatre. He was recently seen in the on-stage orchestra of Bloodsong of Love Off - Broadway and at Joe’s Pub with such Broadway talent as Kacie Sheik, Tituss Burgess, Caissie Levy and Felicia Finley, as well as American Idol top-ten finalist Constantine Maroulis. He can be seen coast-to-coast (and on youtube) doing stand-up comedy. He is from New York City where he writes musicals and writes and directs music for Broadway singer Felicia Finley. After this production, he is off to Pennsylvania and then back to West Virginia for his third and fourth productions of Ring of Fire in a year. Chris is a proud member of the Actor’s Equity Association.

The community has lost such a wonderful father, grandfather, brother, husband and friend. He was always good to me when I would come to visit or even if he seen me out he would not hesitate to speak to me. I will miss him a lot. Darlene, Jim and Jackie, I love you guys and I am so sorry that you all are going through this. He was such a good man. There were things that I didn't know about him but would love to hear. Nobody can take away all the years of memories that you have. I know how heartbroken you all are. It just takes time to be able to deal with this loss. You will always have him in your heart and he will never leave you. He was a devoted father, husband and grandfather. Love each other and give all your support to each other because even though he was your dad, your children are also hurting. May God wrap his arms around Bill and lead him to heaven, and may he take you all under his wing and comfort each of you. Much love, Becky
