Man charged with fraudulent use of access device
A son using his mother’s debit card without her permission has led to him facing criminal charges. According to the criminal complaint, Jerry Boothe III, 36, used his mother’s debit card 13 times at different locations in Man. He was charged with 13 counts of fraudulent use of access device by the WVSP on April 12. His bond was set at $3,500. Also charged with Boothe was Wendy Burgess, 36. RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Alpha Natural Resources says its loss widened in the first quarter, but the coal producer did better than expected. The company on Thursday posted losses of $110.8 million, or 50 cents per share, for the period, compared with a year-ago loss of $28.7 million, or 13 cents per share.
