The Ladies Auxiliary of the Central United Baptist Church met at the Christian Center for their regular meeting on April 8th. Central UB to host Pastor Appreciation
Central United Baptist Church on the Holden Road will host Pastor Appreciation Day Sunday, May 5. The event will honor Pastor Randy Skeens and his wife, Sharon. Service begins at 10:30 a.m. Sunday with guest speaker Rev. Mike Worf of Grantsville, and special singing by Tommy Nutter. On Monday, April 15, 2013, Verdunville Cub Scout Pack 58 toured the Air Evac Rescue at the Logan Airport at Melville. Matt Ellis gave the scouts a tour of a rescue helicopter and explained how their services work to save lives. Pictured with the scouts are Matt Ellis and flight nurse Leo Ball.
