Tigers sweep Sherman in pair of 10-0 games
CHAPMANVILLE — The Chapmanville Regional High School baseball team made it a sweep over Sherman at home on Monday as the Class AA No. 10-ranked Tigers won a pair of 10-0 games at Chapmanville’s Ted Ellis Field. Chapmanville improved to 14-5 win the two wins. Nick Brumfield tossed a no-hitter in the first game as he walked only one batter. The only other Tide batter to reach base was via error. CHAPMANVILLE — It was a split for the Logan Middle School softball team on Saturday at Chapmanville Middle School’s Elite Eight Tournament. The Chapmanville Regional High School track and field team went to Winfield last Friday and were led again by Andrew Workman, who placed fifth in the 200-meter dash.
