LOGAN — Attendance Director Cathy Adkins attended Thursday’s Board of Education meeting to speak about Attendance Awareness Month and to recognize a local student whose artwork will be displayed on a billboard somewhere in the area.Destiny Tomblin, a Logan High School Student, is the winner of a recent art contest in which Logan County students were given the opportunity to join the campaign. Schools held individual competitions for students to design a poster promoting school attendance, and each winner was submitted to the central office.
