State Senators Ron Stollings and Art Kirkendoll were present at Logan County Commission’s regular meeting held on September 11 to make some special, Senate proclamations. The senators honored two very important coaches in Logan County: Larry Vance, the coach of the Man High School team who won the state title this past season and Logan High School’s Cheer Coach Michelle Akers, who has lead two WVSSAC state championship teams as well as two runners-up in the past four years.“Every now and then you get to do something you’re very proud of, and that is to present resolutions to very deserving people,” Stollings said.
