DINGESS, W.Va. — Casey Joseph Scheck, 43, of Dingess, was killed from injuries sustained in a ATV accident on East Fork of 12 Pole Creek in Mingo County on Wednesday, October 27, 2010.

Born July 3, 1967 in Toledo, Ohio, he was the son of Gloria Rose Collier Berendt and the late Albert Joseph Scheck.

Casey enjoyed the out-of-doors, hunting, and 4-wheeling.

Additional survivors include one sister, Christina (Richey) Shepherd of Dingess; paternal grandmother, Emma Ray of Toledo; a favorite niece, Teena Shepherd of Logan; a favorite nephew, Bobby Shepherd of Dingess; Kenneth (Sharon) Collier of Dingess, James (Carol) Moore of Holden and Glen (Linda) Lambert of Chicago, Ill., and numerous great friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 30, at Cornerstone Christian Center at Dingess with Rev. Larry Curry and Rev. Eddie Smith officiating. His remains is to be cremated.

Friends may call from 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations.
