LORAIN, Ohio — Lois L. Justice Farmer, 77, of Lorain, Ohio, passed away Friday, November 5, 2010, at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Avon, Ohio, following a lengthy illness.

Born January 31, 1933, at Midkiff, she was a daughter of the late Chauncey and Mary Manier Justice. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Lawrence Farmer, and numerous brother and sisters.

She had been a resident of Lorain County for the last 24 years. Lois worked 10 or 12 years as a nursing home CNA. She enjoyed her pets and crocheting. Lois’ greatest joy came from spending time with her family.  

Survivors include her daughters, Mary Rose Salzer of Lorain and Tina Louise (Terry) Naranch of Hiddenite, N.C.; son, Larry William (Katy) Farmer of Stony Point, N.C.; her loving brothers and sisters and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, November 8, at the Wyers Funeral Chapel, 2900 North Ridge Rd., Sheffield Township with Rev. Jay Roller, pastor of Grace Baptist Church in Lorain, officiating. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park at Amherst, Ohio.

Visitation will be from noon-2 p.m. and 4-6 p.m. today at the chapel.

Wyers Funeral Chapel of Elyria, Ohio, is in charge of the arrangements.
