OKEECHOBEE, Fla. — Mary Runyon Lerette of Okeechobee, Fla., formerly of Trace Creek, passed away Friday, November 26, 2010, in Okeechobee.

Born September 26, 1925, at Myrtle, she was a daughter of the late Lonus and Ella Ooten Tiller. Also preceding her in death was her first husband, Bill Runyon; daughter, Naomi Carol Ooten; brother, Chalmer Tiller, and sisters, Analene and Thursa Tiller.

Survivors include her husband, Earl Lerette; daughter, Lindell (Joa-quine) Ooten of Myrtle; sons, Billy (Sandy) Runyon of Lenore, and Roger (Geneva) Runyon of Turkey Creek, Ky.; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Betty Barger, Lisa Tatro and Barbara Watford, all of Okeechobee, and a host of friends and family.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday December 4, at the Fellowship Baptist Church in Lenore with Rev. Don Stroud and Rev. Curtis Booth Officiating. Burial will follow in the Ooten Cemetery at Trace Creek.

Pallbearers will be Randy Ooten, Timmy Ooten, Shane Runyon, Chris Canterbury, Scott Baisden and Tim Reed.

Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. with special services at 7 p.m. Friday at the Church.
